Butterfly Tea Parties With Pottery Barn Kids
We recently had the pleasure of creating a Butterfly Tea Party series for Pottery Barn Kids, with tea parties held in-store at all Pottery Barn Kids stores across Australia.
The theme for the tea parties was inspired by one of my childrens favourite nursery rhymes - “Flitter flutter butterfly, flying in the big blue sky.”
Each store event featured a butterfly cupcake decorating station, a 'Butterfly Book House' set up in the Monique Lhuillier butterfly canopies and a 'Caterpillar Craft Corner'.
Burnt Butter in Melbourne created the most beautiful ombre butterfly cookie wands for the event, which our little guests got to take home to enjoy. They were true works of art!
At the Chadstone store in Melbourne I was lucky to be joined by the gorgeous Andrea from A.T Bakes who created the prettiest butterly cupcakes for the event, complete with a delicious pink and white buttercream swirl icing. Each guest received their own piping bag and teeny tiny bowl of sprinkles and Andrea helped them to decorate their cupcakes.
It was a truly magical morning and we are so grateful to Pottery Barn Kids for the amazing opportunity.
Thank you to Ebony Quaid and Chantal Jesson at Pottery Barn Kids for all their assistance with the event, to Aim Aris for photographing the Melbourne event, to Burnt Butter for the beautiful cookie wands and to Andrea at A.T.Bakes for her divine butterfly cupcakes.
