FROZEN Family Fun at Sofitel Sydney Wentworth
Our family spent the weekend in Sydney at Sofitel Sydney Wentworth enjoying their fabulous Frozen Family Fun Package.
To celebrate the upcoming launch of the Disney Featurette ‘Olaf’s Frozen Adventure’, Sofitel Sydney Wentworth recently launched a Frosted High Tea, plus an exclusive Frozen Family Fun Package (complete with Disney welcome gifts). The hotel is also hosting a Winter Wonderland Christmas Day Luncheon complete with some special guests from Arendelle, a Frozen singalong and themed dessert table!
As soon as I heard about the Frozen Family Fun package I knew my kids would absolutely love it, plus with my sister being based in Sydney I never need an excuse to return to this beautiful city!
And as soon as Ava and Alex heard we were going to Sydney for some Frozen fun they of course had to pack a suitcase full of all their Frozen toys, Princess Anna, Queen Elsa, Olaf and a host of other friends from Arendelle!
We checked into Sofitel Sydney Wentworth on Friday afternoon and the kids were SO excited when they ran into the lobby and discovered the stunning wintry decorations. The hotel has been transformed into a winter wonderland with stunning displays in the lobby, Soiree Bar and also outside the Garden Court Restaurant on level 5. The hotel has done a beautiful job, the decorations are suitably festive and chic but also subtle.
Upon arrival to our suite the little ones discovered there were two Frozen story books, two plush toys and two night lights sitting on the bed, a gorgeous inclusion in the Family Fun Package. Ava and Alex both adored their toys and had so much fun with the night light too, watching the snowflakes on the roof as they drifted off to sleep that night. (Ava even took her Snowgie toy to Kinder with her on Monday to show all her friends!)
At breakfast the following morning the kids were each presented with an Olaf sticker book to enjoy as they had their breakfast, it was a gorgeous touch. My husband and I also loved seeing the hotel’s ‘Le Petit Prince’ area at the breakfast buffet, a special area for children filled with fruits, yoghurts and breads.
That afternoon we enjoyed the Frosted High Tea in the hotel’s Soiree Bar. The kids took along their new toys, plus all their Frozen toys from home and they were also given an activity pack which they adored.
The menu is divine and the pastry chef has created a stunning range of sweet and savoury foods including Elsa’s frosted macarons, Anna’s blueberry tartlets and Ava and Alexander’s two favourites - the Olaf religieuse (two-tiered, iced choux puffs!) and snow ball cupcakes.
Ava and Alex enjoyed a hot chocolate while my sister I sipped on a glass of bubbles! It really is the perfect treat for the school holidays and I would highly recommend the Frosted High Tea to anyone who has a Frozen lover in their household!
After the afternoon tea we strolled down to Circular Quay (a leisurely five minute walk from the hotel) and took the kids for a Ferry ride along Sydney Harbour. We enjoyed another beautiful sleepover at the hotel on the Saturday night followed by a final delicious breakfast in Garden Court on the Sunday morning. The kids were sad to leave the hotel, but have so many happy memories from a very special weekend away.
The Frozen Family Fun package and Frosted High Tea are running until 31 January.
