Valentine's Tea Party at SUTSA Cake Bar & Studio

My best friend Kate's birthday is 13 February. Kate has a sweet tooth and LOVES cake and so this year for a special birthday treat I hosted her and another gorgeous girlfriend Victoria (and our little loves) a Valentine’s themed tea party at the most divine new cake studio in Fairfield called SUTSA. SUTSA Cake Bar & Studio was opened last year by pastry chef Amanda Chow. Amanda has a background in 5-star hotels and originally started her patisserie business back in 2009.

I first discovered SUTSA on Instagram last year when I saw a post promoting their Grazing High Teas. I went straight onto SUTSA'S website and spotted Amanda's incredible cakes and sweets and knew I had to visit ASAP!

We enjoyed a gorgeous grazing tea party and Amanda created us a custom Valentine's themed menu filled with her exquisite creations. It was such a beautiful morning and I can't wait to return to SUTSA again soon. Thank you Amanda for a very special Valentine's tea party!

The kids enjoyed Vanilla Scones, Finger Sandwiches, the cutest teddy bear Cookies and buttercream


We also enjoyed pots of Tea and All Press Espresso Coffee.

The Decorations:

The gorgeous jumbo balloon bouquets were from Lombard's and they have a fabulous range of balloons, decorations and candy for Valentine's Day. Lombard's also offers a balloon delivery service across metro Melbourne and can design a custom Valentine's Day arrangement or balloon wall. The heart placemats were also from Lombard's. I also had two-tones of pink roses on the tables which sat in vintage milkshake glasses.

The little ones LOVED the tea party treats! Their favourite items were the teddy cookies and the buttercream cupcakes.
