A Magical Easter Picnic + Egg Hunt
A couple of weeks back I was lucky to host a Easter Picnic + Hunt with one of my gorgeous friends Emily Tuck, who has just launched a new business – Pretty Snippets, an online homewares destination offering a collection of beautifully made and ethically sourced pieces.
Pretty Snippets stocks the most beautiful range of vintage treasures and I thought this was a perfect opportunity to showcase some of the unique whimsical pieces that Em offers, all of which are available for either sale or hire for parties and events!
Our Easter picnic featured a bunny craft station, gorgeous decorations from Lombard The Paper People, delicious sweet treats from LaManna Patisserie and Smash Cake Melbourne, wines for the mums from Calabria Family Wines, entertainment from Carnival For Kids and chocolates from Ferrero Australia and Easter Egg Warehouse.
You can see all the details in Confetti Fair's Easter Mini Mag: https://issuu.com/confettifair/docs/confetti_fair_easter_mini_mag__5_
I have also posted some additional photos below! A huge thank you to the following partners who helped bring the Easter magic to life:
- Venue, props + photography – Emily Tuck, Pretty Snippets
- Decorations + Balloons – Lombard The Paper People
- Bunny Cakes + Cookies – LaManna Patisserie
- Entertainers - Fairy face painter + Easter Bunny – Carnival For Kids
- Take Home treats for the Mums – Ferrero Australia
- Refreshments for the mums - Calabria Family Wines Calabria Private Bin Prosecco
- Chocolates for the Egg Hunt – Easter Egg Warehouse
Our Cake Bar was set up on Pretty Snippets cane tables and featured a sweet Bunny Cake from LaManna Patisserie, as well as mini Malteser Bunny Cake, and the most adorable Bunny smash cake from Smash Cake Melbourne, which the kids LOVED demolishing at the end of the party.
All the cute decorations were from Lombard the Paper People including the sweet bunches of pastel balloons, egg shaped tissue balls, the bunny ears, decorative foam carrots, tissue grass, chenille chicks, metal Easter buckets and white cut out picket fence. They have a fantastic range of Easter decorations in store and online.
The little bunnies loved decorating their pastel bags for the Easter Egg hunt at the Bunny Craft Station.
LaManna Patisserie has a gorgeous range of sweets available for Easter and the little ones adored these Bunny + Egg watercolour cookies.
Fairy Cat from Carnival For Kids painted the bunnies faces and kept the children entertained as they waited for the Easter Egg Hunt.
The little ones were captivated by this beautiful Fairy!
Fairy Cat even managed to magic an appearance from the Easter Bunny!
The chocolates for the egg hunt were set up in pretty cane baskets from Pretty Snippets. All the chocolates for the egg hunt were provided by Easter Egg Warehouse. (Easter Egg Warehouse delivers Australia wide and they have such a fab range!)
The little ones couldn't wait to 'smash' the bunny smash cake from Smash Cake Melbourne! They each had a turn and were delighted to discover lollies inside the cake.
We couldn’t forget about the Mums too and each of the mums took home a delicious pack of Ferrero Hazelnut Eggs thanks to Ferrero Australia.
Ava's dress (above) was from PLAY etc. They have the sweetest range of dresses that are just perfect for Easter time! (Not only are the PLAY etc. dresses absolutely GORGEOUS they are also a wonderful company to support as they are all about empowering girls - they have a partnership with Room to Read, a not-for-profit organisation supporting girls education and literacy in developing countries and every piece purchased from PLAY etc. range will educate a girl for one day. How fantastic is that?!
Us mummas sipped on Calabria Family Wines Prosecco as the little ones enjoyed their sweet treats.
It couldn’t have been a sweeter afternoon and a very big THANK YOU to all the wonderful event partners for their contributions and to all our gorgeous friends who joined us for this magical afternoon! Xx
