Ava's Unicorn Carnival Party at Cubbyhouse Canteen
‘Stay magical... and never, EVER, stop believing in unicorns’ Miss A!
We had such a magical time on Saturday celebrating Ava’s 7th birthday with our family & friends! It seriously feels like yesterday we were having babycinno dates at Cubbyhouse Canteen with Ava’s baby besties ...and now she is about to turn 7!
Ava's birthday isn't until early Jan, but she wanted to celebrate with her friends from this year's school class, so we decided to host the party before the holidays. Bec and Narelle at Cubbyhouse Canteen had such a challenging couple of weeks in the lead up to the party negotiating their lease and at one point it looked as though their last day of trade was going to be the day of Ava's party! But we were SO excited to hear that they've been able to extend their lease and will be open for trade until at least the end of March (and hopefully the next few years and beyond!)
Bec & Narelle's amazing food, warm hospitality and AMAZING party skills makes the Cubbyhouse Canteen team the best in the business in Melbourne!
The girls managed every little detail of the party, from organising the cake and entertainment, to the 'stay magical' backdrop, styling and food. THANK YOU CUBBYHOUSE CANTEEN!!!
The amazing two tier chocolate cake was made by Nicci from Frosted by Nicci and it tasted as amazing as it looked. I have seriously never seen a more beautiful cake! Nicci decorated the cake with a handprinted unicorn, pastel watercolour and magical clouds and stars. Thank you SO much Nicci! www.frostedbynicci.com.au

We were super lucky to have the delightful Jen from LuBeelu Entertainment at Ava’s Party to do her face painting magic! Jen arrived as a Unicorn and painted the most gorgeous unicorns I’ve ever seen! Thank you so much Jen, you are so talented! www.lubeelu.com.au
Ava and her guests were entertained by the amazing Helly Hoops from Bam Bam Circus! Helly kept Ava’s 40 guests entertained for over an hour with her spectacular hoola hoop and magic show, games, bubbles, tricks and circus fun! Thank you so much @hellyhoops and thank you @hayleyhoopla for organizing!
Lastly, huge thanks to our gorgeous friends and fam who came out to celebrate our little unicorn on Saturday! xx

The gorgeous cake table featured Cubbyhouse Canteen's kawaii cloud,, heart and sprinkle unicorn cookies! These cuties all flew off the table!
The stunning fruit plate featured some glitter unicorn pops from Jill at Sweetie Darling Candy Co! The unicorn pops were also in the gift bags that guests took home. Thank you Jill!
