A Rainbow Tea Party for Ava

We celebrated Ava’s 8th birthday at our favourite hotel in Melbourne, The Langham, just before Christmas. I can’t believe it has taken me this long to share the photos on the blog! It has just been such a busy couple of weeks, but I thought I better share these photos today before Alex’s 6th birthday this weekend!

I seriously can’t believe our sweet little lady is now 8 years old, the years are going too quickly!

Ava’s birthday is early January so we decided to celebrate her birthday before Christmas and before her friends all went away for the holidays. She adores the Langham so my gorgeous friend Tara Bishop at Langham kindly arranged for Ava and her friends to have a preview of the hotel’s #littlelanghamhightea (Peppa Pig). It was such a sweet menu and worked perfectly for the rainbow party theme! The kids all enjoyed their tea party treats and took home some gorgeous gifts from The Langham, Chocilo Melbourne and Zuru Toys.

Following the tea party we checked into the hotel for an overnight stay - Ava, her best friend Alice and Alex went ‘glamping’ in the suite thanks to The Langham's Kids' Glamping Package! It is the sweetest package - teepees are set up in the suite giving the little ones their own special hide away. They each got an adorable bear backpack filled with activities including bubbles, Langham sunglasses, an activity book and other treats!

The doorbell rang not long after we had checked in and 3 chocolate milkshakes and personalized Teddy Bear cookies were delivered to the room! The hotel has thought of everything!
